In June of 2018 our lives were completely changed when we found out that our 2 year old son has a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer called atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor or ATRT. We have been battling this cancer since day one, and we will not stop. Bjorn is taking part in a clinical trial through St. Judes which requires a substantial amount of travel, appointments and time away from home. At this time Bjorn is receiving intravenous antibiotic infusions every 6 hours, which has become his dad's full-time job along with gastric tube med management. No one has been able to work outside the home since the first day we learned he had a brain tumor, and balancing the finances of home ownership/cancer treatment/travel/living expenses/etc. has become a significant strain on our family. Raising two children with special needs is a full time job and more, even when we are not traveling for Bjorn's treatment! If you are able to donate any amount to help us stay afloat during this intense treatment time it would be so very appreciated.
