The Red Cross estimates that as many as 13,000 homes were destroyed, leaving some 70,000 people in the Bahamas homeless on two northern islands. With the situation devolving into a humanitarian crisis, it’s clear the Bahamas need all the help they can get. Here are a few ways you can help right now—even if you can’t volunteer yourself.
So many have lost thier lives in this powerful storm, the number may never fully be known of the amount of casualities, right now even after a week since the storm has cleared familes have many oved ones laying in the street dead or who were washed out to sea never to be recovered. The beautiful island has taken on the smell of death as deceased are unable to be removed due to the overwhelming amount of devestation.
