Terms and Conditions

HelpMeDonate Holdings, Corp. is a Registered 501c(3) Charitable Organization. - All Disaster Relief fundraising, School Fundraising, Charitable Donations, Donations to our Cause of the Month are processed by HelpMeDonate Holdings, Corp.  Donations may be tax deductible.  

HelpMeDonate.org has raised Millions of dollars in charitable contributions.   Whenever possible, HelpMeDonate.org provides a donation receipt to keep for your records.  HelpMeDonate publishes it's fees and charges for services based on those fees. At HelpMeDonate.org's sole discretion, we may process all donations at NO cost.  This will be clearly stated below in our fee table, when in force.  Otherwise, for every dollar collected for a Fundraiser or Charity, The fees HelpMeDonate.org charges will be displayed below in our Table of Fees.  These fees are subject to change without notice.  

For Donors:
Donations made to fundraisers may be tax deductible.  Contact your accounting professional for information that would apply to you.  HelpMeDonate.org can work with employers to process Matching Donations.   You may refund ANY donation within 3 business days by contacting us by email during normal business hours.  Refunds may not be made once a donation has been paid to a fundraiser or organization.  No Refunds are available for donations or purchases involving HelpMeDonate.org’s 4-Giving Card.  Unless specifically requested, those who make donations of any type on HelpMeDonate consent to our use of donor information, excluding payment information.  This use may consist of, but is not limited to, notifications, marketing, by us and/or our partners, or other contact for the purposes of marketing or establishing a relationship with donors.  You release and hold HelpMeDonate.org harmless from ANY Liability with regards to our (or one of our partners) use of your contact information or other non-payment related information provided.    Donations to HelpMeDonate.org represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the officers and directors of HelpMeDonate.org. The charge will appear on your credit card statement as a payment to “HelpMeDonate.org”. In addition, HelpMeDonate.org incurs a third-party administrative fee of approximately 3 percent for credit card and Paypal contributions. HelpMeDonate.org may charge the fee directly to a Fundraiser or Charitable Organization.   In order to contribute to a Fundraiser, Cause of the Month, or Charitable Organization, a Donor will be required to provide HelpMeDonate information regarding its credit card or other payment instrument (“Payment Instrument”) that is linked to the Donor’s account on the Services (a “Billing Account”). You, as a Donor, represent and warrant to HelpMeDonate that such information is true and that you are authorized to use the applicable Payment Instrument. You agree that a certain minimum Donation amount may apply, and that all Donation payments are final and will not be refunded unless HelpMeDonate, in its sole discretion, agrees to issue a refund.  HelpMeDonate utilizes payment processing partners to bill you through your Payment Instrument and Billing Account for any Donations made, and Donors acknowledge that by making any type of donation to HelpMeDonate, Donor is agreeing to any and all applicable terms set forth by our payment partners, currently Paypal for Paypal transactions, Authorize.net and Evo Payments for credit card transactions, and PayByWeb, Inc. for eCheck transactions.  Donors agree to abide by all provisions of each providers Terms of Service. 

For Fundraisers: 
Once a fundraiser has been completed, please notify HelpMeDonate.org and request a payout for the balance due for your Fundraiser.  Please allow up to 30 business days, from date of Payout Request, for payment to be issued.  You will receive a check in the mail for fundraising monies owed.  If you have feedback or suggestions, please contact our team via the Contact Us page.  By setting up a fundraising page with HelpMeDonate.org, you authorize and consent to our use of donor information, excluding any payment information, received via your Fundraising Page.  This use may consist of, but is not limited to, notifications, marketing, by us and/or our partners, or other contact for the purposes of marketing or establishing a relationship with donors to your fundraiser.  You release HelpMeDonate.org from any Liability with regards to our contact with donors to your fundraiser.  Fundraisers are not permitted to include any links in their fundraiser to competitive fundraising sites.  Any fundraising pages which includes such links or references may be deleted without notice.  

School Fundraisers: 
SCHOOL FUNDRAISERS ARE ALWAYS FREE!
   HelpMeDonate.org charges NO Platform fee, NO Payment Processing Fees for school fundraisers.  Teachers/Administrators will receive 100% of all net funds raised.  Once the fundraiser has been completed, please notify HelpMeDonate.org and request a payout for the balance due for your Fundraiser.  You will receive a check in the mail for fundraising monies owed.  If you have feedback or suggestions, please contact our team via the Contact Us page.  By setting up a fundraising page with HelpMeDonate.org, you authorize and consent to our use of donor information, excluding any payment information, received via your Fundraising Page.  This use may consist of, but is not limited to, notifications, marketing, by us and/or our partners, or other contact for the purposes of marketing or establishing a relationship with donors to your fundraiser.  You release HelpMeDonate.org from any Liability with regards to our contact with donors to your fundraiser.  

For  HMD's 4-Giving Virtual Gift Card:
Purchased gift cards may be redeemed with any Fundraiser or Charitable Organization listed on HelpMeDonate.org.  Cards have no cash value once purchased and may not be refunded.  Cards may NOT be resold or transferred without prior approval of HelpMeDonate.org.  Card value expires after one Calendar Year from date purchased.  Fees are subject to change and are listed below in our Table of Fees.

Disaster Relief Fundraising:
As the need arises, HelpMeDonate.org will raise money for disaster relief efforts, as it has done since 2001.  When fundraising for Disaster Relief efforts, Payouts to Organizations, Churches, or Municipalities may be processed differently than donations for HMD Fundraisers and Charities, via our site.  Typically, HelpMeDonate.org will payout Disaster Relief Fundraisers at the rate of 100% of the funds donated.  Payout does NOT include tips provided by donors which are used to cover costs associated with running a business.  Once a Disaster Relief fundraiser has finished, they will select to end their fundraiser.  HelpMeDonate.org will then email the registered fundraiser confirmation of the fundraiser's request to end their fundraising campaign, and will ask fundraiser to select the organization to which they would like their funds donated.  Typically, the choices may be The American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, The Humane Society of the United States, and HelpMeDonate.org's Disaster Relief Fund, however, the options may change, without notice.  Fundraiser will be provided with up to 2 email notifications to make their selection.   If a selection request is not received by HelpMeDonate.org within the required time-frame, HelpMeDonate.org shall select for the Fundraiser.  Once HelpMeDonate.org selects the receiver, no further changes will be permitted, and the fundraiser will be terminated.  
Disaster Relief donations to a specific cause will be used for that cause to the best of our ability.  Should funds/supplies be received once a campaign ends or funds/supplies for that cause are no longer needed or accepted, donated funds/supplies may be used for another cause or program, where those funds/supplies may be necessary.  HelpMeDonate.org makes every effort to use donated funds as promoted.  In certain cases, funds provided to charitable organizations may be reduced by expenses incurred in the process of collecting those donations.  Even in cases where HelpMeDonate.org states that 100% of funds are to be provided, this may or not be possible due to costs incurred.  HelpMeDonate.org reserves the right to utilize Disaster Relief funds donated to specific fundraising efforts or charitable organizations, to be used for specific campaigns or uses, subject to the sole discretion of HelpMeDonate.org.    

Supplies Received:
When you provide supplies to HelpMeDonate.org, we will make every effort to use them as requested by donor.  HelpMeDonate.org collects and provides supplies to locations affected by disasters.  Should a designated disaster no longer need supplies that have been collected, or should the cost to transport supplies exceed the value of supplies, HelpMeDonate.org may use supplies for other relief efforts, at HelpMeDonate.org's sole discretion.  Those items may be provided to help homeless, food banks, shelters, or other charitable organizations in need of supplies.  Rest assured, all supplies will go to help people in need.   Amazon provides a small donation to HelpMeDonate.org for qualified supplies ordered via it's AmazonSmile program.  HelpMeDonate.org provides a Supply Registry that includes items typically needed for disaster relief, through Amazon.  

HelpMeDonate.org's Cause of the Month:

Donations made to HMD's Cause of the Month may be tax deductible.  Contact your accounting professional for information.  HelpMeDonate.org can work with employers to process Matching Donations.   You may refund ANY donation to the Cause of the month within 3 business days by contacting us by email.  No fees are assessed to the donor.  Fees charged to the Cause featured are displayed in our Table of Fees, and are subject to change.  

Charitable Organization Registration:
